Please don't mention the rabbits... they get over excited very easily ;)

They will get excited either way.

Plus I like to wind them up.

Maybe we should remove the exclamation key from our keyboard!

Geography definitely does help. Ebay prices and unavailability in the DF store helps more. Not needing another rabbit hole for my wallet helps the mostest!!!!

I came to DF with KSI. The only DF resin I have is 24 of those red pillars.
You are blessed with restraint (undoubtedly aided by geography) - I came to DF during KS1 and now own over a dozen resin sets - sadly they are relatively inaccessible (buried in the back of the closet) until the game room gets built...

You guys are killing me. I was in a place DF could not mail to when all of the old buy x number of sets and get this cool limited piece were offered and am forced to attempt to complete my collection through the secondary market. If anyone out there has any of these types of pieces they no longer wish to have, but want to find them a loving home without breaking my bank, feel free to contact me. I am back in the US on a permanent basis now, so hit me up and lets work something out...
Me too...
I missed all those (and many more) stuck on my back for 3+ years...
then sending all my savings to doctors and lawyers for many more... :|

I think there are a lot of us out here that missed those bargains.
That's life, that's what people say... ;)

Looks like there's another one up on Ebay now.

Kind of kicking myself for exchanging all of my Realm of the Ancients stuff for regular Classic Dungeons sets some years ago...

I, personally, know old time forum members who have HUGE collections of DF - I mean in the range of 20+ of EACH set ever made. Yes, they had deep pockets so perhaps it is one of them unloading stuff as their interests or life situations change...

@Greyhawk DM - I remember that sale and was able to snag two painted 4-way intersections for $25 each. I DO think there were speculators too that grabbed a lot more than that though. Not sure if the current sales are what I described above or speculators from the sale...
