The extras are now up for clearance sale if anyone here is interested. They have free shipping in the US for orders over $25.

They are not really miscast. They are the docks that originally were not to come with the poles already attached. The creator decided to cast the new version of docks all in one piece, which sounds good to me.

I think I will get some of the original dock pieces. I can always use wooden looking stuff for bridges or walkways.
we knew that, just wanted someone else to type it all out :) thanks Dice :D

So the latest update for this KS stated resin issues which will delay fulfilment - disappointing but prefer Quality over Speed so all good for us :)

Result of this is that they will be selling off the 'miscasts' cheap on their website at some point which may be worth a look.

Here is the relevant Update Extract:
This leaves me with a literal mountain of dock tiles that could make perfectly good wooden floor or board walk tiles. To try and offset even a small amount of this unexpected expense you will see me putting up a clearance category on our web store www.forgeprints.com and I will be liquidating these tiles at a steal. So keep your eyes out for them if you want a bargain :)

Some were interested in the painted option, so here're some pics for the add-ons:

I will take one I add today !
No sand glued on it because I can use as borders of a river too or even in the sewers.
(you can make a tiny island with it :) !)
I had not considered islands. I am going to add a set for Zombicide Green Hoard. We should lobby for back curves.

I want to add a tip about basing with sands. Mike used play sand and some sand from the curb for the texture for the pink foam hot wire cut island. I used a very fine grain craft sand for my MDF island. The craft sand is for sand painting and closer to scale. A package will last nearly forever. The adhesive is 50% white glue/PVA and water. The paint color is Delta Ceramcoat sand.I use saw dust rather than sand for hills.

Yeah those are really cool and unique. I wonder if the hand painted will include a sand texture glued on.

And here is something from the KS that can be used with Dwarvenite and I do not think DF was about to do them.
