I guess you could drill a hole in the top or bottom of the lantern and wire it either way.
Cool :!:
I wanted to be sure the clear lens fits both ways.

I saw this on face book https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... =3&theater

By using the small LED he was able to use a smaller drill bit and not break the resin lamp. I want to be able to place the lamps on boxes and tables as well as the walls and post. I will use them both ways. I need a better way to hide the battery boxes.

Printing the "glass" pieces for my lantern with transparent PLA. The post has a hole through the center to run a wire through. Going to drill a hole in the top of the lantern and try to install and wire up an LED. Will redesign the base to hold a battery case with switch this weekend. Will post an update if successful

I like the Lamp :!:
I also like the post.

Suggestions for the battery box.

I would like to be able to put the lamp post against a wall. Like in a mine.
I would like a flat battery box that could be used for fire places. To hide in a wall/chimney or floor.

Question about lamp lens

can you wire the lens from both the top and the bottom?

When you have worked out pricing I am sure I would like some 4" by 8" roofs.

Thanks. I just need to add in the stone details on the ends and then burn in the wood grain. Will try to have updated pics this weekend.
