Some were interested in the painted option, so here're some pics for the add-ons:

I will take one I add today !
No sand glued on it because I can use as borders of a river too or even in the sewers.
(you can make a tiny island with it :) !)
I had not considered islands. I am going to add a set for Zombicide Green Hoard. We should lobby for back curves.

I want to add a tip about basing with sands. Mike used play sand and some sand from the curb for the texture for the pink foam hot wire cut island. I used a very fine grain craft sand for my MDF island. The craft sand is for sand painting and closer to scale. A package will last nearly forever. The adhesive is 50% white glue/PVA and water. The paint color is Delta Ceramcoat sand.I use saw dust rather than sand for hills.

Yeah those are really cool and unique. I wonder if the hand painted will include a sand texture glued on.

And here is something from the KS that can be used with Dwarvenite and I do not think DF was about to do them.

I think DF puts something in their resin to give it more weight and a less plastic like feel. But this is all from personal experience and not from any real knowledge of the resin formulas or any knowledge on casting/molding either.
Dust from the bones of a Stone Giant,
fresh blood from a Goblin youngster
and lastly (5) jewels or gems worth 1000 gold each. ;)
That's just the material components for Rock to Mud! ;)
Thanks Eden, I forgot what fuses it all together.

I'm glad Adventurescapes Docks look different from others. Docks around the world today look different. It gives you the chance to do multiple dock encounters and make it feel like your in a whole new area. I personally can't wait to see what docks DF makes so i can add them to my options as well.

For the Terrain!!

DF's resin is more stone-like. I had a piece break once and the break texture wasn't smooth, the texture was gritty. It broke like I would expect a plaster to. It was easily glued with no issues. Other resin I have seems to be honest to goodness, smooth plastic if it breaks, with discoloration at pressure points, etc. My DF piece had none of that. However my DF pieces also don't chip like hydrostone, etc. either. To me is seems like a hybrid product.

The early Armourcast resin breaks smooth like glass. The later resin cast are more like PVC. They will bend a lot before they break. Plaster of paris is too soft and is very grainy when it breaks. Hydrocal is stronger and harder but it is still grainy. Hydrostone is very hard and stronger. It will shatter like glass. All of these products have a niche. All of them are costly to ship. Some of the hobby casting resins are horrible, Use professional products like Smooth On.It is too late for me to ride by The Engineer Guy today. I will ask about this flexible product when I do.
