I saw the film D&DE movie a few years ago, the new D&D doc got me interested in watching the old film again. Man those maps a cherry! I would love, love, love to have them. Scan em and throw em up on a website, zip em up onto rpgnow for POD or pdf, or have a Kickstarter to publish a nice deluxe hardback. Frog God could give you some pointers on making a super high quality book, to match the super high quality material. I'm sure you have some folks in house who could do up some nice digital images.

Look at it this way, all those hours you spent on the artwork can still draw dividends in either $$$ or goodwill, and they can be IP for your children and grandchildren and perhaps their kids as well.

In addition, the maps themselves will appreciate in value if they are published.

Do it for the kids!

:p

I feel very privledged to have visited Stefan's Lair and to have seen his amazing hand-drawn maps and player aids -- not to mention his awesome minis collection. His players were very spoiled!

Yes! Please publish maps - no descriptions needed! Just dont sell them on ebay! It makes me sad to see original Kuntz or Gygax or Mentzer go to one collector.

There has been a lot of beer talk through the years of publishing my Campaign Maps...the various lands, the layouts of the Taverns, Inns, and dungeons...while leaving names blank so that folks can utilize the land for themselves...maybe one day...

Thanks for your kind comments:)
