I enjoyed the photos :D

Have you considered texturing the edges of the blocks to make them look like stone?

A homemade texture roller and a Green Stuff World clay roller. The 18 inch roller works better on foam.

You can also create texture with a rock.

I am looking at Rakuten (Japanese Amazon) now, and they are selling the nicer black and brown bricks for 124 yen (about a buck ten or so). How many would you want and I can try to figure out what shipping would be on them.

https://item.rakuten.co.jp/handsman/6147380/

details
Light and convenient foamed polystyrene brick!
Recommended for store display and interior!
All five colors are color variations!
[Light Blue Brown White Gray Black]

(size) 200Mm × 100Mm × 50Mm
(weight) about 28G
(Material) Styrofoam
(load-bearing) about 45Kg
Wow, Thanks for the offer.

Just considering size of box and how many should fit, a 16"x16"x16" box "should" hold 64 bricks. If stacked flat on bottom 8 would fit 2x4, so each 2" layer is 8 bricks. 56 would be 14" tall and 48 - 12" and 40 - 10". But a 16"x16"x10" box is an odd size.

Do you have any old DF outer shipping boxes? I could see how many fit in one of those. My last one was 8.3/8" tall x 13" x 21.3/4" or 213mm x 330mm x 553mm. That size box would hold about 33 standing vertically in the box in three rows of 11. I would think at least one box if not two.

It's the shipping to the Seattle area, so at least it's the right side of the country.
Let me know and BTW, NO rush. Too many other things I'm sure we all have going on.

Thanks, Bill

Neat vertical layout. Thanks for the continuing story layouts.

On another subject that needs discussing.
When are you going into business selling those blocks in the U.S.?
Seriously, I'll send you some money for a purchase and the shipping.

I like how your elevations make the going deeper down really feel like going deeper down. It gives it all so much more atmosphere.

The latest session went well, with the party first exploring in the tower above, and chasing away one boss spider, and then delving deeper under the Inn at the Top of the World, on the blooddrop hill. They delved deep enough to meet another group of spiders, but not deep enough, there is still some left to explore (see last pic)

The medicum bos spider escaped also, and left with three hit points, exactly how much the three party members had together. It was a brutal fight. (we let characters be brought up to 1 hit point by a heal check.)

As for what is inside the crag.... that is a secret as one of my players frequents this board.

But yes, there is stuff inside, along with lots of foam bricks, each 2x4x8 inches more or less, actually 50 by 100 by 200 mm. I used them all up. I think I have about 50 of them.

Thanks for the kind words.
Way cool dice :)

we were not looking for spoilers honest ;)
But that's a lot of bricks - its surprising just how many you need for what seems like a small area.

Waiting to hear what happens next .....
