The battery and switch are all in the hollowed out bottom of the piece, you can see them in the video when I turn it off.

The chest? No, it's just a cheap party favor off Amazon repainted, the gems are off Amazon too held in the chest with hot glue and super glue.

So I was disappointed that we didn't get the LED chest we got a glimpse of during KSV so I went ahead and made one for myself:

The gems are most likely for the pentagram floor piece from the Fantasy Floor set, not sure why they would come with the gate. Did you buy it off ebay? Someone might have just thrown the bag of gems in the box by accident.
