Re: Core "Basics"
This is where I had to focus my pledge. The Mega Basic set gives me a enough floors and walls to really pimp out my KS3 collection. I plan on using them to build corridors within buildings as well as creating upper levels. The other good thing is that they give a buttload of biscuits. If I use them ...

Re: Stretch Goals
I have to say I like how SGs were done this time around. If you put in the funds, you get the SGs. In previous KS, the SGs were needed to fill out the various encounters. Now, they're actually extra items to help flesh out a pledge. I look at the SGs as a way to get some of the new items like posts ...

Re: Leave no bean behind...
Here's a question. Will they have a pack of just the plugs for the stairway floors? I would love to have suitable plugs that would fill in the KS3 floors that I have. If they offer a pack of just plugs, that would be really helpful.

Re: Dwarven Forge KS8
Shipping shock over here. Dice, If I suggested this before please excuse me. You should be able to find a gamer on a base close enough to you for this to work. Military and diplomatic personnel get things shipped to them at USA postal rates. All you need is a gamer who plays with you occasionally w...

Re: Another mixed resin dungeon/MBS layout
I really love this layout! Though I don't have any of DF's resin pieces, the MBS set was one that I always wanted. The 2x2 format does seem to be more flexible for interior builds. With that aid, I believe this could be fairly well constructed using all dwarvenite. If one uses classic dungeon for th...

Re: Pledge Planning Spreadsheet
Not sure if this is a reasonable request, but could you incorporate what people already have from KS3 Cities? For example, let us input how many floors and roofs we already have and use that to help calculate the amount of coverage needed? Let's say you have a section in the spreadsheet which asks h...

Re: Cemetery - Shrine Builds
I really like how you used the sketch to design your layout. When It comes to DF, I usually simple throw things on the table and move them around, making changes as the shape comes to mind. I may have to start the sketch phase to help speed things up.

Re: Wildlands EU - first thoughts
Second, and this is a more serious issue, there's the question of how you handle your own improvement. This is likely to vary a great deal with people depending on what they want to get out of the hobby. The fundamental issue is that you're bound to improve as a painter as you practice. That means ...

Re: Pacarat’s test castle paint scheme
On a gaming table, it is the tiles themselves that matter, not the paint. Also nicer than having everything DF gray as cast. So true! My players get a kick out of seeing the tiles on the table. Having them painted simply adds to the experience. That's why I'm not worried about my crappy paint style...

Re: Pacarat’s test castle paint scheme
Looking at all the work and thought that you put into your paint scheme makes me feel pretty crappy. When I got my Castle pieces, I realized that they really needed to be painted to be useful. I had the similar view on CBS which also got painted pretty quickly. Unfortunately, I had so much Castle (G...
