Re: Cavern Questions
Interesting! I had a similar story as the original post: During KS5 I remembered my childhood and what I couldn't afford, back then. So I bought in with a bigger and bigger amount (ending with WAY TOO MUCH :D). and I am so much looking forward to playing with those tiles. But ... they will not be wi...

Re: What did you order !!!!
Crap, my pledge manager is unlocked again how the hell did that happen? Mine will stay closed now! The fifth time I locked it, I sticked exactly to the plan -- which was well thought through and budgedwise at the very maximum (well, or way beyond...). Exactly to the plan ... well, there was this ti...

Re: What did you order !!!!
Thought to consider about the Gorgon Tier -> Its strength outside of the bling and the elevation platform/large floor/stairs you want is its heavy content of vaulted walls and dungeon floors. If you want to expand your footprint a lot, you could consider adding the whole Gorgon Tier encounter to yo...

Re: Magnets or No Magnets
Agreed. Magnets can solve that, but for the same purpose: Did you try to build on felt? This also gives you some good stability -- and is far less expensive.

Re: Magnets or No Magnets
Travel to the game? Then the trays will help. Hmm. Are you sure, the magnets are strong enough for your builds to survive travelling? I am not so sure. But I totally agree that the answer to the magnet-question depends heavily on your style of gaming. I for example do not like this "fog of war...

Re: What did you order !!!!
I want to create its mirror image, a Celestial realm. I love that thought! This makes total sense to me and my mind is already wandering away into this adventure... Unfortunately I do have to concentrate on one style for this kickstarter. Maybe I can work on a mirror image of my dungeon, later, ove...

Re: What did you order !!!!
1) Vaulted Dungeon Elevation Pack ($54 painted) - Elevation really gives you full use and effect of 3D terrain! 2) Large Curved Walls ($27 painted) - 2 more along with your 2 from Eldritch Pools will allow a circle or more variety to square builds, for only 27$ 3) Large Floors ($55 painted) - Large...

Re: What did you order !!!!
Painted and with magnets. I figured that I always do around 90% of the paintjobs myself and then lose interest. That would be a bit sad in this case. Therefore, painted was the better option for me.
Thanks for the hearty welcome!

Re: What did you order !!!!
Hello all, I am also new to DF, although it has always been my dream since the late nineties, but I couldn’t ever afford it. Therefore I thought I had completely different problems from all you veterans, but I recognized that the main problems seem to stay the same even for very experienced backers....
