Re: Quality control on miniature painting
Yes it seems worse with some sets over others. I had more issues with castles and city builder than the DOD or Dread Hollow. DH is actually very good. I dont have any DF minis though and minis usually take more time to paint then terrain.

Re: How to wash electrical pieces?
Thanks Gents, a wet sponge bath it is!!!
I have the bubbles blue so might use that as first coat. The more I learn to paint the more shortcuts I take to save time!!
I usually get painted but I painted my own ice caverns and was worried about matching.

Re: Was the crenellations color mismatch fixed - but only for people buying NEW stuff?
Wow that irritates me too. I spent A lot on castles and hate that mismatch. Castles had it's issues. Also hate the pacman shaped piece issue which I guess will never be fixed. And of course agree on stability you can't bump the table or pieces crumble. Overall I love the Castle set but their quality...

So we got our Tote, Map And Die Pack in wave 1 and are in the picture below :) Two are pretty easy to spot but the D20 is not wearing a white and red hooped sweater to make it easy for you. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49389694716_67d275f13e_4k.jpg The map is just a single sheet made to look...
