Re: KS6 Forces of Nature way to soon discussion
Personally, I'm not looking for any kind of "treetop" terrain. I just want Dwarvenite outdoor terrain so that I can make a variety of greenery to dress an outdoor environment. Something like small patches of ground that taper down at the edges, with strategically placed plug holes to inser...

Re: Castle Builds
What are those trees, they look great... I wouldn't mind picking some up, where would I find them? As others have said, most of the larger trees were from Miniature Building Authority and the smaller ones are from the Safari Trees Toob. The three other large ones were from eBay I think, but my hist...

Re: Castle Builds
Thanks for the kind words. I mostly edit out the background so it isn't obvious how cluttered my gaming space is :) I'm looking forward to seeing what other variations I can put together with the tiles I have, and I'll definitely have to run a siege battle with lots of figures on both sides one of t...

Re: Castle Builds
I finally had a chance to play around with my castle builder tiles, so I thought I'd post a few pics. Other than a few small issues, I'm really happy with how they turned out. These builds are based on a Count's Castle pledge which I enhanced with a couple of Straight Wall packs and a crenellation p...

Re: Resin vs. Dwarvenite
While I prefer the look and feel of the resin pieces in almost all cases, Dwarvenite is my material of choice due to price, durability, and ease of storage. My collection wouldn't be anywhere near as large if it wasn't for the Dwarvenite Kickstarter campaigns. In fact, I probably wouldn't have even ...

Re: Ruins - why they should have their own KS
As much as I like the idea of ruins, I don't think it could succeed as its own kickstarter. I think the best way to do it would be to make a ruined castle wall add-on with a single type of wall that comes apart in different ways, so it can look like an intact but cracked wall, or one that is ruined ...

Re: KS4 Peer Pledge Review
Another nice configuration! I see you have more walls to make it bigger, but do not have floors to fill the space. You have covered breaking out the towers (other than the corners). Would a Corner pack give you what you need to fill the corners? I may be mistaken, but I believe the inside corner pi...

Re: KS4 Peer Pledge Review
This is the first KS where I'm still a bit stumped at this point. My plan is to leave the 6-inch towers for now and work from a Count's Castle pledge that already includes 4-inch towers. 1 x Count's Castle 2 x Straight Walls (to increase to Citadel size) 2 x Ramparts Inside Walls (to pair with the a...

Re: Crenelation grid pattern
Personally, I'll be using them together with the crenelations from the last KS, so I'd rather they stuck to the same grid, even if it meant in this case two half squares instead of a whole one.

Re: Day 1
1.) Crenelations/battlements for the castle walls 2.) Additional dungeon pieces 3.) Siege equipment I think it's important to show newcomers that the castles will have the option for crenelations to create an authentic castle look, and the additional dungeon pieces would be a great incentive for fen...
