Re: Looking for good trees

If you want "decent looking at tabletop distance" sites like Amazon, Ebay, and Wish all have good options. Wish is by far the least expensive with varying quality as it has multiple sellers like Ebay and Amazon. It is also often rather slow shipping since most of it comes over from China. Most will ...

Re: Greetings from the Forge!

Welcome to the forums then. You probably know this, but we're pretty much the hardcore faithful and not all of us like to wander the wastes of social media (though I dabble myself). I won't be disappointed if you don't know the answer to this yet, but do you guys know which team members will be atte...

Re: Poll: Dwarven Forge Collection Size

I did not include modded pieces. I did include DF that was given to me in lieu of payment and as gifts. I used the price at the time I bought it since I don't really resell anything thus far and have bought precious little off ebay. My fortunes have been rather dramatic the last few years. If not fo...

Re: KS6 First Teaser

I love being able to buy boxes of sprues or even leftovers or miscasts. Awesome for kit bashing all sorts of things together. I'm not sure that is the right direction for DF though. I don't think people usually come here looking for bits to customize. I think they come here for high quality modular ...

Re: What edition did you start with?

We started with 1st edition. I've played every edition since and have liked each for different reasons (except fourth, fourth is terribad in my estimation). We have house ruled every game we have ever played. If it isn't fun, it has to be changed or it has to go. If it is unbalanced, the question be...

Re: What minis do you MOST want?

#1 Seated - Tavern patrons are fine, but I would also love to see some seated doing something that could be at home, in the square on the fountain edge, or on a seat in the tavern. Pipe smoking, gesturing, holding a mug, maybe even just reaching forward (sit them at food, facing a server, etc.). I w...

Re: Demographics

I'll be 38 in about eight days or so. Had to stop and think about that, I stopped keeping track after I could buy alcohol. Since I have no plans to run for office the next age that matters is my senior discount, followed by retirement. I started playing tabletop RPGs in the 80s with AD&D first editi...

Re: KS6 First Teaser

I backed a KS I had not planned to just to get seated minis. Good seated minis, especially ones that can be placed on different seats are the #1 thing on my wishlist. Close behind is seated figures with matching standing or adventuring poses. I have hundreds of minis. Maybe over a thousand at this p...

Re: KS6 First Teaser

Chiming in to say that backfill pieces for odd shapes is a grand idea. They can be negative space portions themselves as well as increasing the versatility by combining with their intended piece. I also hope the minis continue to be in dwarvenite, even if that means they have to have an odd release ...

Re: Are the Classic Dungeon Resin Sets gone for good?

Firstly, I do not speak for DF and am in no way staff... however I will repeat a few things I have heard said by staff unofficially (in person at conventions for example). A few have said that direct reproductions in dwarvenite of resin won't be happening. Similar and complimentary pieces/sets are e...
