Re: What else do you want for StarForge?

Would love to see wall extensions that raise the wall vertically allowing for taller external builds but can also add more atmosphere to internal builds. Tech nooks with in built rechargeable batteries which are now a thing :) Into those you can plug in LEDs - variable colour alert lights. We want t...

Re: So expensive :(

Well too expensive for sure. Impossible to acquire for europeans with VAT & P&P fees. ... Sorry we get hung at times on words and phrases being bandied around which are incorrect. but given we are European and pledged for Starforged, its clearly not impossible to acquire. Just much more exp...

Re: So expensive :(

Another thing I was thinking of this morning is the difference between cost-per-piece and value-per-piece. Cost-per-piece is easy to measure, albeit an imperfect indicator of anything because not all pieces are the same. The real question is, of course, whether a piece is "worth" the cost...

Re: Stretch Goal Question

... You are right 100% that it can work for competitive but also right that its price prohibitive for competitive. A single true LOS blocking piece is gonna cost over $200 which yeah does its job and looks amazing but that’s a lot for just a tactical terrain piece and that’s if the terrain piece do...

Re: Stretch Goal Question

... The stuff looks amazing, just not a real sci fi TTRPG guy and the stuff doesn't really work for competitive 40K. Gonna get the pipes for fantasy and try out a couple bunkers for 40K. This one just isn’t a huge spend the way the fantasy stuff is. Hope the numbers continue to tick up know the tea...

Re: Is this your final answer?

Its also in the eye of the beholder and the focus.

Agree when you highlight it and focus on it, it does need some highlight tlc. But in a build we don't think that is what you will focus on.

That being said a light wash would no go amiss :)

Yeah you cannot have enough of those and they are up there for us, just the Pylons can make the dead walk!

This assumes your building is technically dead, which in 99% of cases is in fact, true.

Re: Talk about the new GF Starforged Campaign

Think it was why BYO pledges cost $10 in past campaigns due to the Tote bag being included - we maybe mis remembering and reserve the right to be wrong ;).

But its a little sobering to see the direct payment needed to get a tote bag.

What is your favourite sculpt?

We know we have seen most of the sculpts before but having seen them in more detail and a whole bunch of example builds, the videos are fabulous btw. Our current favourite piece is the Pylon. Not an obvious, one but chunky and full of versatility, we got visions of using them as legs for walking cit...
