Issue with an LED piece
So yes, I am one of the lucky ones who got their stuff already. And, as expected, it's fantastic. But I have encountered one slightly odd problem. I'm hoping somebody out there can help me out. So I got my stuff in and played with it. Afterwards I went to work. When I got home I discovered that I ha...

Re: Nate and Stefan Showing KS6 Stuff at Origins
@Nate: I will be at Origins this year and this sounds awesome! I just hope it's at a time when I can attend. What time will your game be over?
And just to clarify, Dwarven Forge won't have a booth set up this year, correct?

Re: KS Encounter Ideas
This may be slightly off topic in regards to the questions you've asked but I'll just throw it out there in case no one else has proposed the idea. I think a great idea would be rock formations that have magnets embedded in them. You could take the various rock shapes, stick them together using the ...

Re: KS Encounter Ideas
I enjoy DMing eccentric NPC's the most. Monsters that turn out to be NPC's are also favorites of mine. My players also enjoy these types of encounters. I have run several encounters in the Underdark where the floor is smooth like glass and looks like polished obsidian. It is naturally incredibly sli...

Re: What minis do you MOST want?
I have thousands of miniatures that cover a lot of ground. I ended up liking the DF villagers more than I thought I would originally. There was a definite problem with the proportions of some of them however. A few of them look like dwarves or halflings when I don't think that was the intent. I woul...

Re: KS6 First Teaser
I would put many down on crystal's with LED's in them That seems like a no-brainer to me. I forgot to mention that. What has me the most curious is how magnets will be used. Clearly to snap to the terrain trays but in what other fashion? The traditional use is to stick stuff to walls but I can't rea...

Re: KS6 First Teaser
One of the things no one has brought up was the survey that DF sent out a while back. I think that gives us clues as where their minds are at. Using that as a starting point and following the DoD KS as a template, here's my guess as to what they will do. I can see there being both new ice and lava p...

Painting with an airbrush
I plan on using Vellejo Air paints to paint my game tiles. I see that Vellejo paints are approved to use but how about their Air line? Has anyone tried to paint with them yet?

Re:Thoughts on how to Paint the new Sets...
<t>I plan on airbrushing (for speed) a set mid-blue and then drybush it with a light blue and then a white. I will then clear coat them with a glossy finish to get a nice set of icy rooms to use with my ice cavern pieces.<br/> <br/> Painting some floor pieces in a checkerboard pattern is a really co...

Re:Kickstarter Launches Monday, March 25th!
<t>Im curious to see what the $400,000 stretch goal is going to be. Oh, the suspense is killing me!<br/> <br/> As a longtime collector (and owner of over 30 sets) I find myself wondering just how many of these sets I need. For instance, if I go in for 5 and the stretch goals eventually double that a...
