Re: Looking for good trees

I have some laser cut buildings from 4ground. I could not resist Rick's American Cafe. The Laser cut buildings do not match the style of most of my model buildings. I will check the 4 ground site and see what the trees are like. I have a few tips. The most important one is most how to videos are inte...

Re: KS Encounter Ideas

I keep the pillow ticking in a box. I use black and gray for battlefield effects. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae283/CRTraylor3499/Massive%20Darkness/IMG_2271.jpg I am finishing up 24 4" by 4" lava floor tiles for the Massive darkness. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae283/CRTraylor3499/Mas...

Re: KS6 - Puzzle Teaser Round 2

I just want to chime in with my own personal opinion. Caverns generally don't have 2 sided walls the way dungeons do. Back fills don't make sense for a cavern since they would actually be solid stone. The back side of a wall is only sculpted to make the whole piece look more visually interesting. I...

Re: KS Encounter Ideas

Fog monsters are cool! I am afraid they make a mess. Painted pillow ticking or even cotton wool is often more practical. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae283/CRTraylor3499/Moria/IMG_2262.jpg This is the bridge I started yesterday. I base coated it. PVA/white glue takes longer to dry with foam be...

Re: KS6 - Puzzle Teaser Round 2

I'm glad the cavern corners don't ' all ' have a full 2x2 footprint. Wanted to get the other sides view in. There are a few ways to fill the missing corner floor space if need be and some full 2x2 corners too, but if you want the non-full 2x2 corner what do we do without them? I for one am glad the...

Re: KS6 - Puzzle Teaser Round 2

While we are on the topic of curves, i want to vote for more 2x2 pieces (as opposed to curved with negative space outside them) - I am far less distracted by the little square points on the outside of my caverns than i am annoyed by how few curved pieces i have that can use in the middle of a large...
